Talent Manager

Richard Martin: Leading Talent Management at Ignite Talent
Richard John Martin is the founder and principal of Ignite Talent Management, a Los Angeles–based talent management company where he brings more than three decades of experience in the entertainment industry to guiding emerging and established performers. Beginning his career as a child actor, he appeared in over 80 national commercials by the age of 12 and went on to land roles in daytime dramas including “Guiding Light,” “As the World Turns,” and “One Life to Live.”
After graduating from New York University, Richard relocated to Los Angeles and shifted his focus behind the camera, producing commercials for major brands such as ROSS Dress for Less, Guess?, Smart & Final, Red Bull, and Home Depot, work that further sharpened his eye for casting and nurturing new talent. He later established Ignite Talent Management in the Los Angeles area, where he represents actors working across print, commercial, television, and film.
In addition to his work as a manager and producer, Richard is the author of the novel “Lost in Chaos,” published under the pen name Tate Connors, and has explored adapting the story for television. As a talent manager, he has helped clients secure roles on prominent television series such as “NCIS,” “Will Trent,” “Bosch” and “Bosch: Legacy,” “General Hospital,” “Doom Patrol,” “Yellowstone,” and “The Morning Show,” as well as numerous Hallmark and Lifetime films and feature films including “I Feel Pretty,” “The Perfect Guy,” “Dyad,” and “Flight Risk.”
Richard’s work is grounded in a deep passion for the performing arts and a strategic, career‑long approach to representation, advocating for his clients in a wide range of opportunities across the industry. He remains committed to elevating the profiles of the artists he manages and positioning their work for recognition on both national and international stages.
