Dramatic Arts

Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.

It is not necessary to have any previous acting experience or training. However, it is imperative that you let go of preconceived notions and be open-minded and honest when approaching this work.

Scene Study/Meisner for Film & TV

The Scene Study/Meisner Technique for Film & TV offered at The Conservatory at The NYPAA is composed of 8 classes over four weeks. These scene study classes based on the Meisner technique allow students to acquire significant knowledge in a four-week program.

Dedication is an absolute must. High standards apply to the program.
